Job OverviewWargaming is seeking a Level Designer to join the team working on a new unannounced project.The successful candidate must be passionate about video games. We need a team player, who is motivated to learn and expand their expertise, as well as share it with colleagues, to improve and grow the game together.Reports toLead game designerWhat will you do?

Design new game levels, maintain them and modify, when necessary, provide expert feedback on game levels;
Translate concepts into specific playable levels, including layout, modeling, gameplay, event scripting, balance and tuning of levels;
Assist in making levels look visually competitive while protecting gameplay as the top priority;
Flesh out level / environmental architectural details;
Write storyboards and flow charts for assigned levels of games;
Verify maps via data visualization;
Orders tools/visualizations/tests required for successful map design.

What are we looking for?

Absolute passion for playing and making video games, proven experience in making levels for shooters games;
Unreal Engine, Unity or any other proprietary game engine experience.
Understanding of gameplay flow and scripting;
Diligence and attention to detail, with excellent critical thinking and analysis skills;
Native or Professional working proficiency of English;
Performing effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines to ensure the game is completed on time and to the high standards expected;
Demonstrated ability to work with distributed teams across multiple geographic locations;
Ability to convey thoughts clearly и attention to detail.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

Basic knowledge of graphics packages such as Photoshop, Mudbox, 3ds Max, Maya;
Basic understanding of statistics and statistical calculations.
