- Provide timely, accurate, effective and actionable insights, analyses and conclusions that will drive acquisition, engagement, retention, monetization and player experience in our live and upcoming games;
- Be a major stakeholder in implementing KPIs for your title(s) and provide actionable analysis based on them.
- Proactively identify and interpret business needs and performance opportunities throughout - from concept development to production, growth & marketing and live game operations;
- Be a major partner to the Game Designers and Product Managers, providing analysis on the in-game economy, monetization, retention and overall engagement;
- Contribute to the game teams with feature planning, especially the roadmap’s direct connection with the KPIs and targets;
- Be a major partner to the User Acquisition Managers to ensure profitable user acquisition at scale, including ROI targets, payback periods adjustments, predictive models and more;
- Assist Finance to ensure versatile and dynamic business modelling and forecasting;
- Enable with intelligence, data-driven concept development and validation, our creative and business performance leads in Game Design & Product Management to develop engaging, fun and innovative gaming experiences that would also perform as profitable businesses;
- Play a pivotal role in designing, building and maintaining our game data pipelines in collaboration with our data engineers;
- Ensure data pipelines and 3rd party integrations are always up-to-date;
- Ensure the necessary KPIs are well-defined, tracked and timely available, and the subsequent reporting needs are met in a sophisticated manner.
- Mentor junior team members in the BI team to support with their growth and development;
- Be a major contributor, working very closely with the BI Lead in levelling up Business Intelligence in TD by enabling and advocating for data-driven decision-making in the organization.
- Extensive practical quantitative and statistical analysis experience, including advanced statistical methodologies and data modelling;
- An advanced degree in a quantitative field (engineering, statistics, computer science, economics or similar);
- Hands-on experience with a diverse set of statistical and machine learning methodologies to solve and optimize critical business problems and KPIs.
- Extensive experience with predictive modelling;
- Strong knowledge of BI reporting tools such as Tableau, Looker, etc;
- Practical experience in a general data analysis language such as SQL, Python/R;
- Practical experience with designing and running A/B tests;
- In depth understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to turn mathematical analyses into clear action points;
- Excellent sense of accountability and ownership;
- Attention to detail and proactive, hands-on mentality.
