- Responsible for successful execution of project revenue annually; accountable for managing all assigned projects to financial target(s) established at the onset of each project
- Working with Project Engineers and Sales Engineering, leading project set-up process including identifying areas of risk and key performance indicators (KPIs), the scope of work development, pilot site planning, task and milestone development, quote review, project schedule, and sample deliverables
- Review the full project plan, including set-up, with the Director of Project Management
- Provide a thorough task list to assigned Project Coordinators and train assigned Project Coordinators on success criteria for any assigned project
- Develop both customer and internal reporting for project tracking that aligns with deliverables, ensuring that customer expectations are met
- Review and approve all billing data collected from Project Coordinators
- Review and approve invoices to be submitted to customers such that payment/collections are not delayed due to improper amounts invoiced or due to improper formatting of invoices
- Represent CrossCom on all project-related customer conference calls and on-site meetings; take the lead in these interactions with the customer
- Meet regularly with the internal team to review the progress and performance of all assigned projects
- Develop and lead resolution efforts of any/all escalations associated with assigned projects
- Develop team schedule for direct reports
- Ensure the team is meeting required metrics for contracting, billing, and tasks
- Supervise assigned Project Coordinator staff, if assigned
- Relevant Bachelor's degree (Business, etc.), preferred; equivalent work experience required
- Prior Project Management experience working in highly dynamic environments while successfully delivering against time and cost-sensitive requirements, required
- Working knowledge of Structured Cabling/Low Voltage (CAT5 / CAT6) and Telco industry concepts is a plus
- Strong leader with the ability to motivate team members and achieve successful outcomes
- Strong decision-making and execution skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel (minimum skill requirement includes being able to use features such as V-Lookup, creating and manipulating pivot tables, producing multi-scale charting, keyboard shortcuts, etc.)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, to assist in creating and modifying technical process documentation
- Proficient use of Microsoft PowerPoint, to create and update regular project KPI reporting for both internal (Leadership) and external (Customer) use
- Strong customer focus, relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Solid analytical and presentation skills
- Must be results-oriented and demonstrate an appropriate sense of urgency as required to successfully deliver all assigned projects
