- Oversee and ensure the quality of maintenance operations.
- Identify, prioritize, document, and assess customer quality requirements to ensure consistent understanding and customer satisfaction.
- Develop, document, and measure relevant quality level requirements to ensure that delivered products and/or services meet the customer’s needs.
- Confirm high-quality work is produced the first time, by performing independent and objective assessments of work products of all maintenance levels.
- Integrate quality disciplines within equipment maintenance management systems.
- Implement quality assurance and control procedures during maintenance operations.
- Assure safe and reliable repairs and services are performed on all equipment.
- Run the quality management program and lead the improvement of the customer journey by developing and employing quality oversight techniques, quality training, statistical methods, assessments, and other quality tools.
- Ensure that work condition requirements are met by leading audit/inspection reports and making recommendations/presentations to management for corrective/preventive and continuous improvement actions.
- Develop and lead the implementation of performance evaluation and prediction methods to improve the safety, reliability and maintainability of product systems and services.
- Assess and validate contractually required standards for project execution while verifying that standards are met for every deliverable.
- Align quality management function with product/service performance needs to ensure that product/service lines deliver value to customers.
- Facilitate, analyze, and solve complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and value-added practices.
- Use experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes while mentoring Maintenance team members on the same.
- Provide guidance to less experienced team members across all levels within Maintenance, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a NACI. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Green Card holder who has lived within the United States for at least the last 3 years to be eligible for this position.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of quality auditing and inspection experience of wheeled vehicles (HVY/MED/LT) and Power Generation maintenance operations.
- Requires experience with the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army).
- Must have knowledge of Army maintenance requirements stated in Army Regulation (AR) 750, AR 58 and other applicable AR's.
- Must have experience in the development and implementation of corrective and preventive action, audit, and continuous improvement programs.
- Requires in-depth knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of Quality and Project Management.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, SharePoint) is required.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
- Certifications such as ASQ, Lean and Six Sigma, PMP, etc.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
