- Come up with fresh visual and creative briefs that will elevate the game;
- Have a good understanding of 3d game development, understand how to use design and animation to craft beautiful and entertaining game experiences;
- Guide your team through all phases of production - Ideation and Brainstorming Phase, Planning Phase, Production Phase, Post Production, Polish and Optimization Phase, and Cross Project Management;
- Organization of periodic syncs in order to keep track of the project status and progress of creative tasks and keeping track of project requirements and deadlines in order to avoid potential deadline issues;
- Resource management to keep smooth production even in the events when project members are unavailable for a period of time;
- Being synced on a management level and helping in improving our game productions by documentation, lectures, and initiatives;
- Direct management of creative team members (with perhaps exception of shared resources such as sound design, copywriters, and vendors);
- Weeklies or periodicals with team members tracking their personal progress and growth;
- Working on growth targets with individual team members, performance reviews, workshop suggestions;
- Working on individual team members' independence in creative decision making and task solving.
- At least 3+ years experience as an Art Director Leading a creative team with a strong portfolio showcasing your work;
- Expert knowledge of art production workflows, graphic design, 3d animation and illustration;
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a diverse team of artists;
- Excellent communication and project management abilities, with a knack for balancing creative vision with practical implementation;
- A passion for games and a keen eye for the latest trends and innovations in game art and visual design.
