This individual will be responsible for fostering a cohesive company culture, enhancing employee engagement, and promoting our employer brand to attract top talent.Key Responsibilities:Internal Communications:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive internal communications strategies to effectively engage employees and align with organizational goals
  • Create compelling content for various internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, emails, and presentations
  • Coordinate company-wide events, All Hands, and meetings to facilitate open communication and foster a sense of community among employees
  • Collaborate closely with C-Level and Managing Directors and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all internal communications
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders providing strategic counsel on best pracrtices
Employer Branding:
  • Lead employer branding initiatives to enhance our company's reputation as an employer of choice within the tech industry
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract top talent, including creating employer branding campaigns, managing social media presence.
  • Cultivate relationships with external partners, universities, and industry organizations to strengthen our employer brand and expand our talent pool.
  • Monitor and analyse employer branding metrics to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assess and recommend improvements to internal communication processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in communications, employer branding, and technology to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Utilize a variety of tech tools and platforms, including Microsoft Office suite, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Media tools, WordPress, and other web design software, to create engaging content and collateral.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in leading internal communications and employer branding topics, preferably in the tech industry/starts-up
  • Strong language skills with business fluency in English and preferred German; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing communication strategies, including content creation, event management, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders – including at senior level.
  • Demonstrated ability to use a variety of tech tools and platforms including Microsoft Office Suite, especially Powerpoint. Sharepoint, Any Media Tools is a plus e.g. Adobe Creative Suite etc, Content Management System e.g. WordPress also a plus
